The CarbonScape dataset has been developed to provide a simple, transparent and easy-to-use set with sane defaults for architecture’s most common used materials and components. This enables fast and comparable LCA reports from day one where more detail can be added over time.
CarbonScape Materials and Components
Our materials are primarily created based on data. Other sources have been used where data was inconclusive. materials have been divided intocategories. More information can be found per component in CarbonScape. Components are built on our material set and have been sorted by shearing layer. Components can feature anything from complete structural systems to single building products. components are included.
